Ela's path to massage therapy began with a physical therapy degree in the Philippines, followed by work in Singapore and eventually the United States. With almost 20 years of experience, her perspective transformed while working at an acupuncture clinic in Jersey City, where she witnessed first-hand how Eastern medicine could relieve pain and support healing. "It made me a true believer in holistic medicine," she says.

Her approach draws from her physical therapy background to create individualized treatment protocols, focusing primarily on orthopedic and musculoskeletal cases. Currently pursuing her master's degree in acupuncture, Ela brings together multiple disciplines to understand what each patient needs. "You have to understand the individuality of your patients and what their body really needs," she says. “Different patients, different approach.”

She finds deep fulfillment in helping people feel better through integrative care.
