    Description

Evil Bone Water is a traditional Chinese herbal liniment (a topical liquid) that’s used for pain relief, bruises, sprains, and musculoskeletal injuries. Despite the dramatic name, it’s not “evil” at all — the name is a playful English translation of “Zheng Gu Shui” (正骨水), which means “Bone-Setting Water

    Features

It’s typically made by soaking a blend of Chinese herbs in alcohol. Common herbs include:
Gu Sui Bu (Bone Knitting Herb) – thought to help bones heal.
Dang Gui (Angelica root) – promotes blood circulation.
Hong Hua (Safflower) – used to reduce pain and swelling.
San Qi (Panax notoginseng) – said to stop bleeding and aid tissue repair.
The exact recipe can vary, but all are aimed at circulation, reducing inflammation, and speeding recovery.

    How to use

Applied topically (not for drinking), Evil Bone Water is used for:
    Bruises, sprains, strains
    Muscle soreness
    Joint pain
Recovery after martial arts or sports injuries
    Safety Notes:
It contains high-proof alcohol, so it should not be ingested.
Not recommended for use on open wounds.
As with many traditional remedies, evidence is mostly anecdotal and based on traditional Chinese medicine principles, though many athletes and martial artists swear by it.
